Intergenerational Healing Circle Partnerships
Building healing-centered communities through lived experience.
Healing doesn't happen in isolation. It happens in relationship.
Developed by YSRP alongside directly impacted leaders, the Intergenerational Healing Circle (IGHC) brings together young people and older adults who share the experience of being prosecuted as children in the adult criminal legal system. Through storytelling, reflection, and mutual support, participants build trust, process trauma, strengthen leadership, and create lasting community.
Today, YSRP partners with organizations interested in bringing this model to their own communities through training, coaching, and ongoing implementation support.
Why the Intergenerational Healing Circle?
The IGHC is grounded in four core goals:
● Healing from trauma
● Building connection through shared lived experience
● Developing agency and leadership
● Strengthening collective power for lasting change
More than a curriculum, the IGHC is a framework for creating spaces where people can heal, grow, and lead together.
